This collection includes videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, CDs, laser discs, and audio cassettes. Some of these include study guides and teaching supplements. These are separated into Reference, Circulating, Juvenile Circulating, Juvenile Reference, and Government Documents. This collection is located in the Media Center.
Circulating (Main)

The Main collection contains over 100,000 books in all Library of Congress subject areas. These books support all fields of study at Wilmington College.
Curriculum Lab

The Curriculum Lab contains text-books, student workbooks, teacher editions, manipulatives, etc. that supports the instruction of future classroom teachers in grades K through 12.
Government Documents

The library receives and maintains a collection of free government publications. These government documents are received in book, pamphlet, DVD, video, microfiche and online formats. The library selects documents from various government agencies and departments, which include, but are not limited to agriculture, education, the Justice Bureau, and NASA.
Superintendent of Documents Classification

This collection has fiction and non-fiction books geared toward K-8 to support the education department. The library purchases all of the Newbery, Caldecott, and Coretta Scott King award winners and honor books.

Microforms are comprised of both microfilm and microfiche. Serials and newspaper holdings are in microfilm and microfiche. Government Documents holdings are in microfiche. There are two microform readers in the library.

The library subscribes to 16 newspapers. Ohio newspapers include Wilmington-News Journal, Cincinnati Enquirer, Columbus Dispatch, Plain Dealer (Cleveland), and Dayton Daily. National newspapers include Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Washington Post. Subscriptions include education, business, and religious newspapers.
Peace Resource Center

The PRC houses several collections. These include Hiroshima/Nagasaki books, Conflict Resolution materials, Barbara Reynolds’ personal books and papers, and Japanese language books. Fiction, non-fiction, and juvenile materials are included in the various collections.

Recreation Reading

The library maintains a small collection of current fiction titles for pleasure reading. Titles are added monthly and withdrawn four times a year.

This is a collection of research materials. This collection includes encyclopedias, atlases, subject dictionaries and focuses on supporting the college curriculum. The books in this collection do not circulate.

The library has about 200 current subscriptions. The library also has approximately 400 titles located in bound serials. All of the titles held support the educational mission of the college. None of these items circulate.
Special Collections

There are three main areas to Special Collections: College Archives, Quaker Circulating, and Quaker Rare. The College Archives has materials related to the history of Wilmington College. The Quaker Circulating collection contains books covering all aspects of Quaker history, philosophy, thought, and practice. The Quaker Rare collection houses books prior to 1900, Yearly Meeting minutes, and Quaker serials.
