Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival has announced single day, general admission tickets are now on sale for Finger Lakes GrassRoots Live! in Trumansburg, NY. This announcement comes with the vaccination rate in New York surpassing 70% and Governor Andrew Cuomo lifting outdoor event restrictions. The festival will be a series of limited-capacity, one-night concerts on the Infield Stage of the festival’s Trumansburg Fairgrounds location from July 9th–31st, including Donna The Buffalo’s GrassRoots Festival Weekend, July 23th–25th.
Tickets are now being sold as either single general admission or as PODS (Personal Outdoor Dance Space) for up to four people. An additional dance party area will be located in front of the stage which will be available to all attendees. In addition, camping is available for all concert weekends and reservations can be made now through camping partner Hipcamp. As a family-friendly festival since the start, all children under the age of 12 are admitted free of charge.
Over the course of the month of July, Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival shows will include Railroad Earth with Aaron Lipp & Max Flansburg (7/9), Galactic feat. Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph with Danielle Ponder (7/10), Sam Bush Band with Driftwood (7/16), Cory Henry (Snarky Puppy) with Sophistafunk (7/17), Donna The Buffalo’s GrassRoots Weekend (7/23-25), The Return of Jimkata & Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad (7/30), and Spin Doctors (7/31).
Donna The Buffalo’s GrassRoots Festival Weekend will feature performances by the festival founding band, Donna The Buffalo, over all three nights and performances from The Campbell Brothers, Kinobe, Sim Redmond Band, Kiran Ahluwalia, Keith Secola, Jim Lauderdale, Cortadito, Feufollet, Gunpoets, Fabi World Music Trio, Richie & Rosie, Western Centuries, Maddy Walsh & The Blind Spots, and more.
