Turkuaz has announced the return of The Ball Drop, the band’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration. The two-night Turkuaz NYE celebration will take place at Infinity Hall in Hartford, CT on December 30th and 31st, 2021.

“Since 2014, we’ve been ringing in the New Year with our annual event, The Ball Drop,” explains frontman Dave Brandwein. “It’s always a high-spirited party with family, friends and fans from all over the country celebrating under one roof, but this time around it’s even more special. After over a year not being able to tour and share our music with everyone, we’ve never been more thankful for what we get to spend our lives doing.”

The band rang in 2020 at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO, and 2019 at The Palladium in Worcester, MA, while 2018 was welcomed at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD.

The industry-wide touring pause in 2020 gave Brandwein and the band a renewed sense of gratitude and a burst of new energy. “With no New Year’s Even celebration last year, we felt we needed to double up to make up for lost time. That’s why we’re bringing the Ball Drop back to the Northeast for two nights in Hartford, CT. We cannot wait to count down to 2022 with so many who have been along for this ride from the beginning.”

Artist pre-sale and VIP tickets for The Ball Drop 2021 are on sale now, with general on-sale set to begin this Friday, July 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. ET via the Turkuaz website.
