Following the cancellation of Bonnaroo on Tuesday due to flooding on the Farm, a team of local Manchester, TN actors sprang into action to put together an alternative for displaced fans. In the spirit of when-life-gives-you-canceled-festivals, a local groundswell has come together to present The Other Fest. Set to occur across two venues in Manchester, The Other Fest—which cleverly takes its name from Bonnaroo’s Other Tent—is headed by would-be ‘Roo performers Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Big Something.

Also on the lineup for the festival, set to run from September 2nd—5th just like Bonnaroo, are Jade MillionSteady RotationThem GuysJustin WilliamsAny Walker, and more to be announced. The Other Fest will take place at Prater’s BBQ and Common John Brewing Company, both located in Manchester.

Details for the pop-up festival are still emerging as of publication, but organizers have stated that tickets are very limited for the event. The festival website says “we are currently working on event camping” and asks users to check back for more details. Organizers are also directing attendees to public lodging options including Old Stone Fort State Park, the Manchester KOA, and Barton Springs Campground.

“We are looking to assist any vendors that were planning to be at Bonnaroo,” organizers wrote. “Food trucks, artist, and other vendors are encouraged to reach out. We will find you a spot!”

Tickets for The Other Fest are on sale here. Stay tuned to the event website and Facebook page for updates on artist announcements and camping.
