Wintergrass has announced its initial lineup for 2022, headed by The Travelin’ McCourys, Sister Sadie, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, and more. The annual bluegrass festival is set to return to the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, WA, February 24th—27th, 2022.
Also on board for Wintergrass 2022 are Della Mae, Mr. Sun, Jake Blount, and a trio of Tony Trischka, Bruce Molsky, and Michael Daves. The initial lineup also features Laurie Lewis & The Right Hands, Nefesh Mountain, Mike Block Trio, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Brother Boys, Hubby Jenkins, Betse & Clarke, Brothers Comatose, Never Come Down, and more.
The festival will provide a family-friendly setting filled with acoustic and bluegrass music and dances across four stages. Wintergrass is a production of Acoustic Sound, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit committed to “preserving and promoting traditional, acoustic, American music through presentation and education, with special attention given to the bluegrass music community.” In addition to the professional musical performances throughout the four-day weekend, the event will offer a range of music education for kids and adults, workshops, impromptu jams, and more.
