Death Kings, the musical collaboration between Ryan Stasik (Umphrey’s McGee), Mike Gantzer (Aqueous), and Mikey Carubba (formerly of Turkuaz) has announced a set of 2022 tour dates.
The metal/punk trio will kick things off with an Umphrey’s McGee pre-party at Buffalo, NY’s Buffalo Iron Works on January 19th. Death Kings will continue following UM’s 2022 winter tour for the remaining three shows, staging an after-party at Syracuse, NY’s Westcott Theater on January 21st. Then, on January 22nd, the three-piece outfit will hit Empire Underground in Albany, NY before a third consecutive UM after-party at Boston, MA’s Brighton Music Hall on February 11th.
After forming back in March 2021, Death Kings have released two singles, “Fight” and “March of the Kings“. The live world debut of the band then came just a few months later during the final night of Summer Camp Music Festival on August 23rd. Despite having released its debut single just a week beforehand, the group hosted a 90-minute performance at the festival’s Soulshine Tent, which saw a sit-in from lespecial‘s Luke Bemand amid a set full of punk and metal covers.
Tickets for all newly released tour dates are on sale now. Head to the band’s website for tickets and additional tour information.
